I had my first appointment scheduled for December 17th. I was going to be exactly 8 weeks. I was so excited!! We talked to the nurse and she gave us a bunch of info on what I had to follow and then we saw the doctor. She checked me and said that my uterus measured right at 8 weeks but my uterus was tilted. She said that there was no way she would be able to hear the heart beat with the doppler. She sent us to have an ultrasound. The meds that I took had a 7% chance of twins and 1/250,000 chance of triplets. They normally do any ultrasound for clomid users very early on just to check. I got setup in the ultrasound room and the lady said ok so we are just checking for multplies for clomid use. We said yes and Alex says as long as it's not triplets we will be okay. The ultrasound tech kinda chuckles and says nahhh. She puts the gadget in and up pops three circles. She just bust out laughing. Me and Alex knew right away what that meant. All I could do was cover my face and say OH MY GOD over and over again. 1/250,000 chance! I don't get stuff that has that kinda of chance!! We got to hear each heart beat. Baby A was 165 beats per minute, Baby B was 175, and Baby C was 165. Three little heart beats! We have three little babies! Here are the very first pictures of our precious little babies!
This is baby A. It measures 1.66 cm. 8 weeks and 1 day
This is Baby B. It measures 1.70 cm. 8 weeks and 1 day.
This is Baby C. Our big baby! Measures 1.74 cm. 8 weeks and 1 day!

Our 16 month Journey
I knew that I would always have trouble getting pregnant. I have always had really crazy cycles. After Alex and I got married we discussed about trying to have kids very early on. We knew it would take a while. Once we moved into our house, we thought it was the perfect time to start! This was in August 08. We tried for several months but I was only having a cycle like every three months. It was pretty impossible! I went to the doctor in January 09. We did several test. Everything came back good with Alex and Me. The doctor said that I probably just didn't release the eggs because of my irregular periods. She was going to give me clomid. It is a pill that I just had to take for 5 days to make the egg release. The meds cause you to have cysts so I had to have an ultrasound before I could take it. I had a cyst on my right ovary so the doctor wouldn't give it to me. I had to go back in 4 weeks to see if it had gone away. 4 weeks later everything was good! I was given the Clomid to take my March 09 cycle. We were extra excited and felt like this was going to happen! We got disappointment again! I went back and the clomid caused me to have 3 pretty big cysts so I could not take it the next cycle. I had to go back in four weeks to check again. After 8 weeks they were all still there. The doctor decided to put me on birth control to try to get my hormones stabilized for the cysts to go away. So we took a three month break. It is really difficult to want a baby so bad knowing that it is impossible for you right now. It seemed like this three months lasted forever. After the birth control, I was able to take clomid again in September 09. Excited again but was disappointed again 4 weeks later! The doctor told me she would give it to me for 3 cycles before I was sent to a specialist. Insurance does not cover for infertily doctors or treatments. We knew after this last cycle we were going to have to spend a lot of money to make this happen. We were not ready to take that step. I took my last round of clomid in October 09. On November 14, 2009 I decided to take a test! There it was! 2 pink lines! I am FINALLY PREGNANT!! :)
